Job summary

Whole Foods Market, Inc is hiring an In-Store Shopper to support and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup. The role requires flexibility for weekends, early mornings, evenings, and holidays, with shifts typically 4–8 hours and 14-day scheduling issued in advance.

You’ll shop across produce, meats, dairy and more while assisting customers in a fast-paced setting. Strong customer service, attention to detail, and ability to work well with teams are essential.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Sufficient English language proficiency to prepare and shop customer orders.
• Must be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills online orders efficiently with urgency using handheld devices.
• Ensure product and order accuracy through verification and quality control.
• Learn and apply product knowledge and customer service standards.
• Keep staging area organized and free of clutter.
• Handle in-store and online order returns and pickups.
• Comply with age verification requirements for restricted items.
• Assist with customer inquiries and provide store information.
• Maintain knowledge of products and promotional events.
• Communicate clearly and courteously with customers and team.
• Attend leadership meetings and daily huddles.
• Support various checkout options and store formats.
• Maintain safety and store security protocols.
• Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
