Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate CNA, HHA, and PCA caregivers to provide in-home support that preserves clients’ independence, dignity, safety, and quality of life in their own homes.

You will build meaningful relationships while assisting with personal care, mobility, and daily activities, and you will be part of a team dedicated to making a positive difference for seniors and individuals needing support.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia CNA, HHA, or PCA certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Assist with transfers, mobility, positioning, and daily living activities.
• Support routines that promote independence, dignity and safety.
• Provide companionship and encourage social engagement.
• Assist with dementia care with patience and respectful communication.
• Prepare meals and light housekeeping as needed.
• Provide medication reminders and maintain care documentation.
• Follow care plans and safety procedures.
