Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home senior care. You will be a genuine companion, assisting with daily activities, personal care, medication reminders, and mobility tasks while supporting dementia care as needed.

We value reliability, patience, and a strong work ethic; a background check is required, with TB/Chest X-ray current and CPR certification upon hire. Shifts are flexible, with opportunities for raises and incentives.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient caregiving mindset.
• Reliable work history with seniors preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year professional experience with seniors.
• Must pass background check.
• Current TB test or chest X-ray; CPR certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Be a genuine and supportive companion.
• Provide personal care and assist with daily activities.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications and manage meds.
• Assist with walking, mobility and prescribed therapy exercises.
• Accompany clients to appointments and daily errands.
• Plan and prepare meals and assist with dementia care as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and ensure a safe home environment.
