Job summary

First Priority Home Care in Columbia, SC is hiring full- and part-time caregivers to provide in-home care. You will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, and follow each client's care plan.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience preferred
• Eligible to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Physical exam and TB test on file
• Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Help with activities of daily living - bathing, grooming, personal hygiene, dressing, and toileting support
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals and help with feeding, if needed
• Handle light housekeeping - laundry, tidying, linens
• Follow each client's individualized care plan
• Let your supervisor know about any changes in a client's condition or behavior
