Job summary

Fresh Perspective Home Care is seeking caring individuals to join our Kalamazoo team as in-home caregivers. This part-time role focuses on non-medical support to help seniors stay safe and independent at home.

You will provide companionship, assistance with daily activities, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation support. Prior caregiving experience is helpful but not required, and training is provided to ensure success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable, punctual and professional demeanor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and assist with mobility.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Caregiving experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Drive or accompany clients to errands, appointments, or community activities.
• Be a dependable, positive presence in clients' lives.
