Job summary

Brio Living Services is seeking a Housekeeper PRN with flexible scheduling in Chelsea, MI. You will keep resident rooms, common areas, and offices clean, supporting a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning, restocking supplies, and following established schedules using WorxHub. Per diem status offers varied hours with premium shifts in the schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Experience as a housekeeper or cleaner in a long-term care facility or medical environment, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and floors to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and decorative items to keep spaces looking fresh and welcoming.
• Vacuum carpets and rugs and mop floors throughout resident rooms and common areas.
• Clean resident rooms, recreational areas, offices, and hallways according to established housekeeping standards.
• Change bed linens and make beds to ensure residents have a clean and comfortable living space.
• Empty trash containers and properly dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Clean and disinfect kitchen and dining surfaces, including appliances and utensils as needed.
• Replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products throughout assigned areas.
• Maintain organized storage areas for housekeeping supplies and equipment.
