Job summary

QuidelOrtho seeks a Quality Control Technician I to perform QC testing on products at various stages of production. You will document findings for Device History Records and support daily QC chemistry core functions, including stability studies and proficiency testing.

This onsite role is located in Carlsbad, CA. The candidate should have a high school diploma and 0–2 years in QC or a manufacturing lab, with strong attention to detail and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years in Quality Control or manufacturing lab environment.
• Knowledge of QSRs/ISO; GLP/GMP experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must understand traceability (product, material, calibration).
• Must not be eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents QC testing of WIP production lots and special evaluations.
• Supports daily QC chemistry core functions as needed.
• Performs and documents final QC testing.
• Supports new product development/improvement projects.
• Maintains general housekeeping and laboratory organization.
• Operates laboratory equipment safely and professionally.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
