Job summary

RHA Health Services in Wyomissing, PA seeks a Bachelor's Level Therapist-Mental Health Worker to join a family-based team providing individual and family therapy. The role aims to keep children in-home, collaborating with a Master's level therapist, with a focus on strengths-based approaches and crisis support.

The position requires a relevant bachelor's degree, CASSP-related experience, OMH certification enrollment, a PA driver's license, and background clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, nursing, education, rehabilitation, pre-med, theology or anthropology.
• At least 12 college hours in humanities or social services plus 1 year of CASSP system experience and enrollment for OMH certification as a mental health family based worker.
• RN license with 1 year CASSP experience and enrollment for OMH certification as a mental health family based worker.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family and parent therapy sessions using the ESFT (Eco-systemic Structural Family Therapy) model.
• Support and promote strengths-based approaches to children, adolescents, and families in attachment, self-regulation, co-caregiver alliances, and executive functioning.
• Maintain compliance with CASSP principles and cultural competence.
• Provide support to families in managing crisis situations.
• Ensure compliance with Medical Assistance and Managed Care regulations per Pennsylvania outpatient program rules.
• Communicate with families, schools, managed care organizations and other providers to ensure satisfaction and continuity of care.
• Promote program growth and quality of services; maintain productivity and documentation within guidelines.
• Complete initial assessments and treatment plans, with timely updates.
• Attend staff trainings and supervision; 3 hours of supervision weekly.
