Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean is seeking a dedicated custodian/janitor to maintain clean and healthy environments for our customers, students, and facilities. You will perform cleaning duties using our products and procedures, follow PPE guidelines, and participate in a training program as needed.

This role requires 1-2 years of related experience and the ability to communicate in English. You should be able to stand for long periods, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs, in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and read cleaning instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures.
• Cleaning duties include sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash, windows, cleaning, moving furniture and equipment, etc.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Use proper PPE where required.
• Open and lock facilities, enable and disable security system as required.
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a professional and punctual appearance.
