Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean is seeking a custodian/janitor to maintain clean and healthy environments in our facilities. You will perform cleaning duties across offices and buildings using provided products, manage supplies, and ensure security and safety protocols are followed.

We offer paid training, a focus on work-life balance, and opportunities for advancement within a nationwide network. Compensation is $12.00/hr with on-site work in local facilities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, housekeeper a plus but not required
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Ability to read cleaning instructions
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head, reaching forward. Must be able to lift and and/or carry 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures
• Cleaning duties include: sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash, windows and cleaning and moving furniture and equipment etc..
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Use proper PPE where required
• Opens and locks facilities, enable and disable security system as required.
