Job summary

Qualifications

• HSD/GED required; CDA/ECE certificate preferred.
• CDA for Preschool and/or Toddlers within 24 months.
• Six months Head Start/Child Care experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older; good communication skills; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff in implementing curriculum to meet educational goals and individual Child goals.
• Participate in daily classroom operations and adapt activities for children with different abilities.
• Promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of all children; support behavior management techniques.
• Observe and document children's progress; communicate findings to staff, consultants, and parents.
