Job summary

PT Near Me, a Florida in-home physical therapy provider, seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver skilled therapy in patients' homes. You’ll work under a supervising PT, set your own hours, and earn competitive per-visit pay with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities include therapeutic exercise, gait and mobility training, and home safety education, with back-office scheduling handled by us so you can focus on care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active Florida PTA license (or license-eligible).
• Knowledge of outpatient/home rehab techniques, anatomy, and medical terminology.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to manage your time and service area independently.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for helping patients regain function at home.
• Home-based care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled treatment under a PT-authored plan of care in patients' homes — exercises, mobility and gait training, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and trigger-point techniques.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, mobility strategies, and safety.
• Document each visit accurately and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
• Keep every home visit safe and professional.
• Treat a range of cases — post-accident, post-surgical, and chronic-condition patients.
