Preferred Home Care of NY, a Help at Home company, is hiring Home Health Aides (HHA) to work in your community today. We offer weekly pay starting at $18.65 per hour and a pathway to meaningful, in-home care supporting seniors.

As an HHA, you will work one-on-one with clients in their homes, assisting with light housekeeping, personal care, mobility, and basic nursing tasks. We provide training, flexible schedules, health benefits, and direct deposit.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HHA certificate.
• Must have a valid ID.
• Commitment to state-required training and ongoing professional development.

Responsabilités

• Light housekeeping, including organizing, laundry and basic cleaning.
• Personal activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and assisting with meals.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety.
• Use of equipment (e.g., Hoyer Lift).
• Take temperature, pulse and respiration as directed.
• Routine nursing tasks as delegated (e.g., vitals, specimen collection, dressings).
