Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking a Home Health Aide (1099 Independent Contractor) to provide routine healthcare services in clients’ homes. You can set your own schedule to fit both your needs and those of your clients. Expect 6 hours per week with a pay range of USD 17.00–USD 20.00 per hour.

As a 1099 contractor, you’ll enjoy flexibility while delivering compassionate, professional care and monitoring clients’ conditions, reporting to the RN Case Manager and HHA Coordinator as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of state-mandated training hours, if applicable.
• Basic knowledge of computer and internet-based applications for charting.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Compassionate and professional demeanor, with safe working knowledge of client-based equipment.
• Must pass a criminal background check and provide evidence of health status that does not pose a risk to clients or other caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Follow care plans to provide safe, competent care; assist with personal hygiene, meal prep, mobility, and routine housekeeping.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' condition to the RN Case Manager and HHA Coordinator.
