Job summary

Interim HealthCare in Anthony, KS seeks a Home Health Aide (HHA) to support seniors in their homes with compassionate, personalized care. You'll assist with activities of daily living, provide personal care, track condition, and help with mobility, while maintaining a safe, respectful home environment.

The role offers schedule flexibility and the chance to build meaningful relationships with clients. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; six months of healthcare experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Six months of experience in a healthcare role preferred.
• Compassionate and helping nature; good communicator; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
