Job summary

Flat Irons Flex Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care, companionship, and daily living support. You’ll tailor care to each client’s needs and help improve quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

We welcome dependable individuals with strong communication and a genuine desire to help others. No prior experience required beyond a high school diploma; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, and flexible scheduling is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (if applicable).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, dependable and empathetic attitude.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the caregiving field.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care tailored to each client’s unique needs and preferences.
• Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Prepare meals and snacks as needed.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management as directed.
• Offer companionship, conversation, and activities that encourage social interaction and mental stimulation.
• Perform light housekeeping, errands, and other supportive tasks.
• Report changes or concerns to the care coordinator or supervisor.
