Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. seeks a Child Development Specialist to support infants and toddlers in their homes and community settings.

The position offers flexible, home-based schedules with hourly rates of $45–$55, plus a sign-on bonus up to $500. Part-time medical benefits are available, and the company provides professional support, paperless processes, and digital signatures to streamline care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in child development, early childhood, teaching or a related field, or a special education credential.
• Early Intervention experience preferred.
• Home-based service delivery experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide child development services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon)
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach developmental goals
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and ensure progress generalization
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual)
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (HIPAA/state/federal regulations)
