Sunny Days of California, Inc. seeks Child Development Specialists to deliver home-based early intervention services for infants and toddlers and their families across California.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to implement IFSPs and coach families in developmental strategies within the child’s natural environments. We offer competitive pay rates, up to $45 per hour, a sign-on bonus up to $500, flexible schedules, and part-time medical benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree preferred/required in child development, early childhood, teaching or related field OR a special education teaching credential.
• Early Intervention Experience Preferred
• Home-Based Service Delivery Experience Preferred
• Strong Interpersonal Skills

Aufgaben

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide child development services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon)
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach goals
• Utilize the family-centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers’ confidence and skills, ensuring progress is generalized
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual)
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)
