Job summary

POLYTECH School District is accepting applications for a Substitute School Nurse at POLYTECH High School for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate will perform essential school nursing duties, assist students with health services, and coordinate with parents and staff.

Qualifications include a Delaware RN license, CPR certification, and a degree in nursing. Three years of nursing experience and familiarity with school health policies are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Delaware Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR certification required
• Three years’ nursing experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide medical and health services to students as needed.
• Notify parents regarding health information and referrals.
• Administer first aid per school policy and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain student health records and emergency cards.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the school nurse and administrator.
