Job summary

Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation (OACAC) Head Start seeks a Substitute to support daily classroom operations at Branson Ridgecrest Head Start. The role is flexible, as-needed, ensuring a warm, engaging learning environment for children aged birth to five.

You will work alongside staff to maintain routines, follow lesson plans, and provide quality care while collaborating with teachers. A high school diploma or GED and experience with young children are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED and experience with young children.
• Preferred: Early Childhood degree or related field and transcript.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom activities and daily routines.
• Create a safe, positive, and welcoming learning environment.
• Assist with supervision and engagement of children.
• Collaborate with teachers and classroom staff.
• Follow lesson plans and classroom procedures provided by teaching staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
