Ozark Opportunities, Inc. is seeking motivated professionals for an Early Head Start Substitute role in Clinton, AR.

The position offers opportunities to gain extra income by assisting the teacher with daily lesson plans and activities while promoting family involvement. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in teaching or with low-income families, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in a teaching environment or with low-income families preferred.
• Must have an active and valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Teacher in carrying out the daily lesson plan and center activities.
• Maintain a safe, healthy learning environment and support children's security.
• Work with the Teacher to complete developmental tasks per ECLKC and OHS requirements.
• Collaborate with Nutrition Specialists to promote healthy practices.
• Assist with recruitment of volunteers and future clients for service.
• Mandated reporter of suspected cases of Child Abuse and Neglect.
