Job summary

Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is seeking a per diem Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for home care in Brockton, MA. You will provide skilled services in patients' homes, promoting communication and swallowing safety with autonomy and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other care team members.
• Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation.

Your Role as a Home Care Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP):

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with VRNS, you’ll provide skilled speech, language, communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing services directly in patients’ homes. You’ll work closely with patients and their care teams to promote functional communication, swallowing safety, independence, and quality of life. Your responsibilities may include:

• Assessing communication, speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities

• Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other members of the care team
• Completing accurate and timely electronic documentation
