Army Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) on Fort Rucker, AL is seeking a flexible food service worker to support cafeteria operations. You will set up dining areas, serve meals, and maintain cleanliness across shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Role involves following sanitation standards, lifting up to 40 pounds, and completing required safety training within 30 days. This is a federal wage position with opportunities to contribute to community events.

Qualifications

• Must read and follow sanitation standards and safety procedures.
• Ability to understand simple instructions and work with cleaning tools.
• Good reading comprehension and basic arithmetic for portions and servings.
• Resumes should be two pages or less and reflect relevant experience.

Responsabilités

• Set up cafeteria lines, steam tables, dining areas with hot and cold items and beverages.
• Serve food by order and maintain proper portion sizes; clean area after meals.
• Assemble fresh fruit and salads; prepare cold sandwiches from ingredients.
• Wash and sanitize tables, counters, and kitchen equipment; load/unload dishes.
• Scrape, soak, scrub utensils; manage food waste and trash disposal.
• Assist with delivery and storage of food; maintain sanitation and safety.
