Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) License required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care according to the ANA Standards of Clinical Practice.
• Collect patient health data during admission and throughout the patient's stay.
• Determine the priority of data collection based on the patient’s condition.
• Document relevant data in the medical record according to hospital standards.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses/patient problems.
• Develop a plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes.
• Implement interventions identified in the plan of care.
• Evaluate the patient’s progress toward attainment of outcomes.
• Formulate a discharge plan and communicate it throughout hospitalization.
• Participate in quality of care activities to improve nursing practice.
