Qualifications

• 3 months to 1 year of related experience.
• CMA/CCMA/RMA or LPN/RN licensure or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• Equivalent to a two-year degree or specialized program of study.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient health data, tests, and review records with physicians to ensure needs are met.
• Collaborate with health care team according to plan of care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, and others; promote wellness and patient education.
• Document care provided, including interventions, meds, education, and medical record updates.
• Assist with reimbursement tasks: charge tickets, referrals, insurance requirements.
• Maintain an organized office environment, equipment, and supplies; ensure safety and proper functioning of devices.
• Demonstrate flexibility to perform other duties and participate in meetings.
