The role emphasizes patient-centered care, rooming patients, vitals, EMR documentation, injections, and phlebotomy in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Shifts vary by clinic needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient clinics or medical assisting is beneficial.
• Ability to float between multiple clinics across Missouri and Kansas.
• Proven patient-focused customer service and front-office skills.
• Competence with injections and phlebotomy as part of daily care.
• Ability to accurately document patient information in the EMR.

Responsibilities

• Registering and checking in patients
• Collecting patient payments and fees as appropriate
• Providing exceptional customer service during every patient interaction
• Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs
• Accurately documenting patient information in the EMR
• Assisting providers with delivery of professional medical care
• Administering medications according to clinic protocols
• Performing IM injections
• Performing phlebotomy and specimen collection
• Supporting efficient patient flow and clinic operations
• Maintaining a professional, welcoming environment for patients and families
• Floating between Missouri and Kansas locations as needed
