Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System is seeking an experienced or entry-level Medical Assistant to join the float team supporting urgent care and convenient care clinics. The MA will assist providers, perform phlebotomy, injections, and coordinate vaccines in a fast-paced multi-specialty setting.

Responsibilities include patient flow management, vitals, EMR usage, and some front-office coverage. A positive attitude and strong customer service skills are valued as part of a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: Less than 1 year in medical assisting.
• Phlebotomy experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient flow and deliver excellent patient experience.
• Pre-visit planning, room patients, and obtain vitals.
• Phlebotomy and administer injections.
• Assist with procedures and coordinate vaccines.
• Utilize EMR and document scanning.
• Conduct telephone screening with protocols.
• Cover front office responsibilities as needed.
