Job summary

Synova Group seeks a Full-time Flex Float Direct Support Professional to provide compassionate, person-centered support across multiple homes in Mounds View, MN. This role offers open availability and variety, covering morning, evening, and overnight shifts as needed.

You will assist with daily routines, transportation, health and safety needs, and documentation, while building meaningful relationships with individuals and teams. Training is provided at our Brooklyn Park office.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age (at least 21 for Children’s Crisis sites)
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record
• Access to an insured vehicle
• Successfully pass a DHS background study
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships and support individuals in developing friendships and community connections.
• Assist with daily routines such as cooking, household tasks, personal care, hygiene, social activities, and leisure activities.
• Support health and safety needs, money management, and behavior support strategies.
• Administer medications according to training and company procedures.
• Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and community outings.
• Document services, activities, and important events using an online system.
