Job summary

Synova Group is seeking a dedicated Float Direct Support Professional to provide flexible coverage across multiple programs and homes in the Brainerd area. The role requires openness to mornings, evenings, overnights, and alternating weekends, with a strong focus on person-centered care and safety.

You will support individuals with disabilities in varied residential and community settings, building relationships, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring consistent, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old (at least 21 years of age for Children's Crisis sites).
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support across multiple programs and locations as needed.
• Assist with daily routines: cooking, chores, personal care, hygiene, social and leisure activities.
• Support health and safety needs, money management, and behavior support strategies.
• Administer medications according to training and procedures.
• Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and community outings.
• Document services and events using the online documentation system.
• Encourage independence while delivering appropriate levels of support.
• Offer coverage across multiple program locations as staffing needs arise.
