Job summary

FAR Inspections is seeking an independent contractor to perform residential occupancy verifications in Salem County, Virginia on a flexible schedule. You will manage your own routing and territory, with inspections designed for speed, typically 5–6 minutes on-site per property.

You’ll be paid a per-inspection fee; earnings reflect your efficiency and volume in a dense metro area. This 1099 role requires you to provide your own equipment and pass a standard background check.

Qualifications

• Own reliable vehicle and willingness to drive extensively.
• Pass a standard background check.
• Ability to manage routing, schedule and territory independently.
• Familiarity with mobile reporting apps is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential occupancy verifications (exteriors).
• Capture 9+ photos and submit reports via mobile apps.
