Job summary

Armour Medics LLC provides on-site emergency medical coverage at events throughout Los Angeles County, offering part-time, per-diem EMT positions with flexible scheduling and additional income opportunities.

We seek dependable EMTs with California certification, BLS/CPR, and reliable communication. The role involves working at concerts, festivals, and large gatherings, with a focus on professional patient care and collaboration with event staff.

Qualifications

• Current California EMT certification.
• Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
• Valid government-issued identification.
• Reliable transportation to event locations.
• Reliable phone and consistent communication.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and assist patients safely when necessary.
• Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended event shifts.
• Strong judgment, professionalism, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Must successfully complete all required onboarding and employment documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional on-site EMT and first-aid coverage
• Assess patients and provide care within the EMT scope of practice
• Monitor guests, participants, staff, and event conditions for medical concerns
• Activate 911 and coordinate with local EMS when a higher level of care is required
• Complete accurate patient-care reports and incident documentation
• Maintain assigned medical equipment and supplies
• Communicate clearly with event organizers, security personnel, supervisors, and other EMTs
• Maintain a calm, professional, and service-oriented presence
• Arrive on time, properly uniformed, and fully prepared for every accepted assignment
• Remain at the assigned post until properly relieved or dismissed by a supervisor
