First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem hospital positions in Virginia. The role offers flexible scheduling with shifts such as 3:00 PM-11:00 PM and 7:00 PM-7:00 AM, plus daily and weekly pay options and rapid-pay features.

Candidates must hold an active RN license, have at least two years of acute-care ER experience, and maintain current BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.
• Dependable and professional with a commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
