Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for per diem hospital opportunities in Virginia. Choose shifts that fit your schedule, with options including 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, plus flexible scheduling and daily pay.

As an ER RN, you will assess and monitor acutely ill patients, prioritize needs, administer medications, and coordinate care with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
