Job summary

ASG Home Care is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities throughout New Jersey. We offer flexible hours and local cases with a supportive team to help DSPs succeed.

As a DSP, you will work one-on-one in home and community settings following each person’s ISP, promoting independence and daily living skills while documenting services for the care team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
