Job summary

Qualifications

• Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: ability to schedule activities, collate data, and work with diverse groups.
• Knowledge: algebra/geometry basics; read manuals; understand multi-step instructions; grammar and punctuation.
• Ability: communicate with diverse groups, maintain confidentiality, work in a team, handle interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Administers assessments (e.g., reading fluency) to monitor student progress.
• Assists students individually or in small groups with assignments and reading.
• Confers with teachers to evaluate progress and support IEP objectives.
• Implements instructional programs and assists in delivering lessons.
• Maintains attendance records, classroom materials, and student files.

Education

High School diploma with 2.5 GPA

Associates Degree or higher or para test
