Job summary

ASG Home Care is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities throughout New Jersey. The DSP helps with daily living activities, personal care, and transportation while following each person’s ISP.

The role emphasizes independence, community engagement, and building strong relationships with clients. We offer flexible hours and local NJ cases, with competitive pay between $18 and $24 per hour.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
