Job summary

Avera St Mary's Hospital in Pierre, SD, seeks a Radiologic Technologist (PRN) to operate radiographic and CT equipment, producing clinically diagnostic images on physicians' orders. This role requires on-site work with day shifts, and involvement for nights, weekends, or holidays as part of on-call coverage.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, maintain documentation, and ensure patient safety and image quality.

Qualifications

• Associate's or certificate of completion from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology procedures accurately and per standards.
• Initiates intervention when an exam needs urgent attention.
• Reviews indications and reports inappropriate indications.
• Provides exam data for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS/RIS/HIS EMR systems and performs clerical duties.
• Archives images and sends to radiologist group.
