Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires NYS license or ability to obtain within six months.
• ARRT-R certification within six months.
• Two year college degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care - responsible for radiography of patients, including CT scans and Interventional CT guided procedures; provide on-call coverage for CT section of Radiology.
• Documentation - maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and procedures; document performance of studies in patient charts.
• Daily Maintenance - assist with day-to-day supervision of the CT team; clean, restock and prepare rooms.

Education

Two year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent

NYS license in Radiologic Technology (or) must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment

American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R) within six months of employment

NYS Injection Certification within six months of employment
