Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services LLC is seeking a dedicated nursing assistant to support residents with daily living activities and essential care tasks. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, feeding, and monitoring vitals, with emphasis on hydration and comfort.

The role requires successful completion of CNA training and current state registry status, and offers a flexible schedule with same day pay options. Experience in long-term care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Prior experience as LTC nursing assistant preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program.
• Good standing in the state registry is required.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents' needs and ensures call lights are within reach of resident.
• Gives direct resident care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming of residents.
• Assists residents as necessary in their activities of daily living.
• Takes and records temperatures, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, height, weight, and intake/output as directed.
• Maintains cleanliness of residents units, treatment and supply rooms, workrooms, and linen closets.
