Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Central Oregon in Creswell, OR is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate in-home care for seniors and others in need. You will set your own schedule and enjoy work-life balance while delivering high-quality care.

Applicants must have an Oregon CNA certification, CPR, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This role is part of a nationwide network that supports caregivers with training, tuition discounts, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant Certification in Oregon
• CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Care for seniors and those with an illness, injury or chronic disease in their homes
• Help with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating and nutritional intake
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or medical equipment
