Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Home Care Aide (HCA) / Certified Nurse Assistant to support seniors in University City, MO, and surrounding areas including Fenton, Ballwin, Arnold and South County.

You will provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, monitor wellbeing, and maintain a safe home environment while promoting independence and companionship. This role offers flexible scheduling and meaningful, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Six months of healthcare experience preferred
• CPR certification
• Valid MO driver's license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and good communicator; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies
