Job summary

Ambercare is urgently hiring Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) to support seniors and individuals with disabilities in diverse New Mexico communities, including Bernalillo, Edgewood, Los Ranchos, Moriarty, Rio Rancho, Tijeras and surrounding areas.

As a CNA with Ambercare, you will perform essential personal care, medication reminders, mobility assistance, and companionship in clients' homes, with flexible, part-time hours designed to fit your needs.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant training.
• Satisfactory background check and valid driver's license.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take medications on time.
• Assist with therapy exercises under a Registered Therapist.
• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Maintain a safe, clean home environment through light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and accompany clients to appointments.
• Observe changes in client condition and report to the supervisor.
• Turn or reposition bedridden patients.
• Note any bruises or injuries and report promptly.
