Job summary

BWX Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to support nuclear maritime applications on-site in Lynchburg, Virginia. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate contracts, and ensure programs meet schedule, cost, and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics, 10+ years of experience, 5+ years PM experience, and US citizenship with ability to obtain DOE/DOD clearance. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics is required.
• Ten years of professional experience are required.
• Five years of project management experience are required.
• Experience using Oracle Primavera (P6) for scheduling.
• Clear and concise communication is essential.
• Ability to analyze and condense technical and commercial project information.
• Proven ability to develop creative technical and commercial approaches to complex challenges.
• U.S. citizen; ability to obtain DOE/DOD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison for project, proposal, and contract activities with customers.
• Develop, coordinate, and submit proposals ensuring cost, schedule, and technical compliance.
• Manage contracts, work authorizations, subcontracts, and project documents.
• Maintain project risk registers and action logs.
• Establish project controls, schedules, budgets, metrics, and baselines.
