Job summary

A to Z Building Blocks is hiring a Flexible Center Hopper to pick up shifts that fit your schedule. You’ll work primarily with children in our classrooms while also helping as a substitute cook at various Utah locations, including American Fork, Orem, Eagle Mountain, and Spanish Fork.

This part-time role offers a flexible schedule, paid training, and free meals during shifts. You must be 21+, hold a valid license to drive a 14-passenger van, and be willing to work at all locations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Willing to drive a 14-passenger van.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• No CDL required; driver training provided.
• Willing to work at all A to Z locations.
• Willing to substitute as a cook.
• CPR/First Aid and Food Handler Permit required or to be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Support classrooms and care for children of all ages.
• Assist with play, learning, meals, and daily routines.
• Adapt to different classrooms, teams, and locations.
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks when covering a cook shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom or kitchen.

How It Works

• Pick up available classroom and support shifts based on your availability
• Hours will vary and are not guaranteed
• Work with infants through school-age children
• Must be willing to work at American Fork, Orem, Eagle Mountain, and Spanish Fork
• Must be available to substitute as a cook at all locations when needed

Requirements
