Job summary

Safe at Home, a division of Kennedy Care, is seeking compassionate nannies for in-home childcare in Ann Arbor, MI and surrounding areas within a 30 mile radius. The role offers full and part-time hours with a morning shift option and a pay of $17.00 per hour.

As a nanny you will provide engaging activities, maintain a warm and safe environment, and build strong relationships with families. Benefits kick in after 12 months for 30+ hours weekly, including medical, dental, and vision insurance,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of childcare experience
• Outstanding communication skills
• An undeniable positive, can-do attitude
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Maintain availability for at least two full weekdays (Mon–Fri). A full day is defined as a minimum of eight hours of consecutive availability between 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s growth and development
• Create a warm, safe, and fun environment for each child in your care
• Build professional relationships with families to deliver high-quality childcare
• Communicate openly with families and our SAH team to ensure consistency and support
• Respond to the emotional, social, and physical needs of each child, keeping safety and well-being top of mind
• Provide transportation for outings, activities, and errands, ensuring children arrive safely and on time
