Job summary

UPA of NSW is looking for Personal Care Workers/Care Service Employees to join a directly employed casual team across Ascott Garden for Christmas, New Year and beyond. You will help residents maintain independence with compassionate, person-centred care and support daily living activities.

Shifts are flexible and matched to availability with competitive casual rates, induction, ongoing support, and potential progression into ongoing or permanent roles.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent, or actively working towards one where permitted
• Compassionate and respectful approach to supporting older people
• Reliable and available for shifts
• Good communication and teamwork
• Hold current Australian working rights
• Willing to work across a range of days and shift times

Responsibilities

• Providing respectful, person-centred care
• Supporting residents with personal care and daily living activities
• Assisting residents with mobility
• Supporting medication administration when trained and competent
• Completing accurate care documentation
• Working closely with nurses and other care employees
• Building positive relationships with residents and their families

Education
