Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is hiring a Cashier/Sales Associate for Store 4415 in Sulphur, LA. You will greet customers, ring up sales, and keep the store clean and welcoming for every guest.

The role includes handling lottery, cigarettes, and alcohol sales with proper age verification, providing friendly service, and supporting other departments as needed. Full-time or part-time hours are available in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ required.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather.
• Excellent reading, writing, speaking English.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Able to lift 10 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Friendly, positive demeanor and attention to detail.
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and handle the register with accuracy and speed.
• Learn and follow age verification and legal requirements for lottery, cigarettes, and alcohol sales.
• Upsell items when possible to increase sales.
• Keep store clean and safe inside and outside, including restrooms, pumps, and lot.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to maintain fresh merchandise.
• Maintain a tidy store, sweep, mop, and clean entryways.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed, including deli.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and assist wherever needed.
