Job summary

Senior Helpers Southern Maryland is seeking caregivers to provide compassionate home care across Southern Maryland. You may assist with companionship, personal care, mobility, and daily routines in clients' homes.

We offer flexible hours (day, evening, weekend, overnight, PRN), pay $16.00–$19.00 per hour based on experience, paid training, mileage reimbursement, and supportive local office team. Experience with Parkinson's is a plus and opportunities vary by client.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to complete required pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and personal care.
• Prepare meals for clients.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist mobility and transfers.
• Help with light housekeeping.
• Provide transportation and errands when needed.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable home environment.
• Support clients with daily routines and independence.
