Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking caregivers to support clients in The Dalles, Hood River, Wasco and surrounding areas. Open to all care-experience levels; training provided. Part-time weekend shifts available with a focus on local clients, especially Hood River and The Dalles.

Qualifications

18 years+
Ability to pass a state and national background check
Valid driver's license, auto insurance and clean driving record
Ability to complete state-required caregiver training as needed
Ability to adapt to flexible schedules

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming
Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
Perform household tasks (cleaning, laundry, dishes) and maintain a safe environment
Provide companionship and engage clients in activities and hobbies
Transport clients to appointments or stores using a reliable vehicle and follow safety practices
