Horizon Recuperative Care - San Gabriel Valley in El Monte, CA is seeking a caring Caregiver/Health Aide to support residents in a recuperative care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, and medication management, while promoting safety, comfort, and a compassionate atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Experience as caregiver or support staff is a plus.
• Must be able to work in El Monte, CA.
• Prior involvement in caregiving or support roles, ideally in underserved settings.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude toward diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating).
• Provide mobility assistance and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and assist with medication management under supervision.
• Monitor residents' health and report changes to appropriate staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and social interactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized living environment in resident areas and common spaces.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
